Hey

I think you should try out Fruityloops which is perfect for making
trance/techno.
Fruityloops works with VSTi plugins like Pro-53 , FM7 and the very
cool badass softsynth Absynth. I really recommend these programs
if you are serious about making music.

(hrrm.. if you dont wanna buy these programs you can always
use Kazaa to download full versions of them)

Use Reason from propellerhead software (www.propellerheads.se)
It costs around 400$ It's damn good!

Reason is cool but it does not support VST plugs , and the "subtractor"
kinda sucks, but in 2.0 there is a "maelstrom" (?) or whatever they called it
and that seems to be better.
however the samples that comes with Reason is very high quality and useful.

Reason and FruityLoops are different type of programs. First is for live act performing and second is for simple music composing.

I used to use Fruitystudio4, i prefer it to Reason2.5, first cause reason does'nt support Vsti, dxi... plugins. secondly, cause reason is more difficult to use for amateur 1st usage than fruity. I think fruity is more convivial and u can make rapidly music. and there is a lot of thing to dicover.
I don't say reason is no good, a lot of people prefer it to flstudio4 (i heard Airbase use only reason..).
Just have o try it, and make your own choice.

www.open-mind.fr.st to hear what u can do with fruity!
